Executive Session is podcast series highlighting the 2021-22 CoSIDA Executive Board of Directors and hosted by Brandon Jones. The series will feature an interview with each of the 12 executive board members, giving the membership an inside look at our leaders, their stories and why serving CoSIDA is important to them.
In the second episode of the Executive Session Podcast, Brandon Jones is joined by Lenny Reich, CoSIDA At-Large Representative from the University of Mount Union, who discusses executive board membership, his personal journey, the ever-changing profession of college sports information, and what he is thankful for.
Reich is in his 14th year at Mount Union, currently serving as Assistant AD and Sports Information Director. He's in his 25th year in the athletics communications business overall, previously serving at Capital University.
Among his accolades, he was the 2019 recipient of the Warren Berg Award by CoSIDA, given for outstanding contributions to the profession. He is a past president of D3SIDA (Division III Sports Information Directors Association), past chair of the Ohio Athletic Conference SID Task Force, the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Central Region Committee, and was part of the NCAA Sportsmanship and Game Environment Working Group, where he worked in conjunction with the Disney Institute to help design the "GameDay the DIII Way" program.
